The figures a team needs are often held in its own database or business application, behind tables and codes that take a specialist to query. With AskReport you ask the question in plain words: an AI model plans a search, reads your data through read-only access whose cost is bounded, and revises its plan from what it reads. The answer comes as text, tables and diagrams, and before it is shown the application checks that every figure appears in the data read and every quote is verbatim, and flags whatever it cannot trace. Each operation is listed beside the answer with a one-sentence explanation in the words of your trade, and each investigation is kept so that it can be resumed later instead of starting again. Profiles limit what each reader sees, for example a branch manager to their own branch.
