A bank wanted to offer its small and medium-sized business clients secure digital services in which the data stays the client's own. Vincent Brault designed the Digital Strong Room: each client company gets its own container, a digital safe, running open-source business applications such as file sharing and invoicing behind a single sign-on. A companion banking API validates and displays ISO 20022 documents (account statements, payment orders) and encodes and decodes Swiss QR-bills, so these applications can work with banking documents. The proof of concept ran on Docker with performance monitoring, and its approach (isolated containers, encryption, modular APIs) became the basis of SEADEV LTD's later data-sovereignty and integration work.
